When people are confronted by a difficult situation, we respond in different ways. How does the main character of your book (Crispin or Catherine) respond to a difficult situation? Do they try to avoid it, meet it head on, a little of both, or something entirely different? Think back on what you have read so far and write at least three sentences that describe how Crispin or Catherine face their troubles.

  4. I think that Cripsin takes the situations very hard. He doesnt really think it through and think of a better solution than the most obvious route. I think that Crispin just takes what is coming and doesnt care what the future lies ahead. Cripsin has gone through so much that I think he is willing to accept the conseqeunces and do whatever someone tells him to do good or bad.

  39. My character Crispin is the kind of person who will try to get into the least amount of danger. He did so until the hunger in his stomach tempted him to go to the forsaken village. There he is taken as a slave. So he avoids it but it is drawn to him.

  40. I think Crispin tries to avoid his problems by running away from them.I think he will learn that always running away from problems isn't always the best idea. But it is for him because people are trying to kill him and he will learn who he can trust and who will will turn against him.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Theres only one way crispin seems to avoid his issues so far. He always runs away. It's too dangerous pretty much for him to face his problems since pretty much everybody needs him dead. He's bee through quite alot since he was declared a wolf's head. And, when he found out the pope had been murderd and they had slit his throught i can only imagine the pain he felt. But yeah, he hasn't necessarily done anything about his problems to fix them but run away. Which, eventually I think will backfire..

    ReplyDelete
  42. My main character, Crispin, avoids difficult situations and runs away from them. Since he is so young and alone I don't blame him for avoiding his problems, but he could try to overcome his fears and defend himself. When he came back the first time he got forced to leave so he did and is afraid to come back into the town again.

    ReplyDelete

  48. When there is a difficult situation, Crispin tries to avoid it. And really, that's all he's done. When he was chased in the woods, which led to finding the dead priest, all he did and could do was run and avoid the chase. When he was spotted by Aclyffe, he did the same thing, run and avoid. It seems this all he can do to stay alive.

  52. In the book Crispin he has lots of difficulties that he has to face. One is that they proclaimed him "a wolfs head", and the way that he reacted is that he took father Quinel's advice and he left the village. Crispin goes with his advice that of course is his last, but then he meets bear.

    ReplyDelete
  53. the only time crispin solved his problem was when he tried to hide from it. The only way crispin "solves" his problems is by running away from them. Crispin thinks that running away from them will make them disapear, but it doesn't, all that does is build more and more conflict for crispin.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Crispin seems to stay out of trouble by running away. He doesn't really fight back because he “knows” he's not going to win. Maybe he needs a sword!! I just haven't read him facing his problems properly yet. I like his strategy though—he's not entirely ignoring the situation, but starting a new life with Bear.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Crispin responds to his problems by running away.He ran when his mom died and ran when he was being chased by the Manor's soldiers.
