Changes...
Tell me what page you are on. Then, think about a character in your book and how they have changed since the beginning of the story. Describe the changes and tell me what you think caused the changes. Do you think this character will continue changing throughout the story? As always, this must be at least 3 sentences long!

I am on page 150 in Crispin. I pick Crispin for the character that surprised me. Crispin has changed so much since I began the book. He is finally feeling good about himself and has a lot of fate in himself as well. I think what changed him was that he was finally able to see what good amounts of money looks like. I think he will continue to feel good about himself even in the worst situations.

ReplyDeleteI am on page 90 in Crispin. Crispin has changed in this book because he has know really come out of the bubble that everything is fine and your safe as long as you have a master. He noticed that your master is really one of your biggest enemys if he is anything like John Ayecliff because those type of guys would turn on you in a second. I also have learned that people back then didnt really know how to do anything, I wonder what it would be like if I couldnt read or write, well crispin doesnt but he figures out a way to live without having to.
ReplyDeleteI am on page 153 in Crispin. Crispin has changed a lot since the beginning of the story because he seems a lot happier and seems more confident in the things he does. For example when he was learned how to play a song perfectly on the recorder he was so happy. He thought no one was more amazed than he was and it thrilled him deeply that he could play on the recorder. When Crispin was learning how to do other things he seemed more confident that he could do them.I think Bear caused all the changes and also Crispin will continue to change throughout the story.
ReplyDeleteRaquel, this is a great response! I know I feel great when I learn something new, so I can only imagine how Crispin, who had no faith in himself at all, felt when he learned how to do new things.
DeleteI finished Crispin and some ways he changed was he grew stronger and knows more of his family history. He grew stronger because he knows how to live on his own and stands up for himself. Crispin knows more of his family background and it made him think of himself differently.
ReplyDeleteSo far i am on page 59 on the book crispin. Well there is a lot of characters through out the story but i am going to pick Aycliffe. In the beginning of the story aycliffe became a threat to crispin because he is mean and rude to crispin. I predict that ayliffe is the dad of crispin . I think aycliffe hates crispin for some weird reason . Yes, i do think aycliffe would change through out the story.
ReplyDeleteI am on page 190. Crispin was a shy boy who thought he was trash at the beginning of the stoy. Ever since he met bear, he has become a stronger with more self esteem. I think he will continue to grow with his time with bear.
ReplyDeleteI have finished the book and the character Crispin has changed a lot throughout the story.He first believes that faith will lead him throughout his quest,but it is reason that helps him through his quest.I also think that Bear helped Crispin not to put all of his answers and questions to faith,but to answer his OWN questions by himself.This happens throughout the time period of the story.
ReplyDeleteI am on page 93 and I think that the one character that has changed through out the story is Crispin.I think that he has changed ever since his mom died and ever since the night that he went to go visit Father Quinel.Because he has believed that God will lead him to a land where he can gain his liberties and answer his questions.

ReplyDeleteI have finished the book and I believe that she has changed a bit throughout the book. I believe she has changed throughout the book especially when her mother gives birth. She changes then because she realizes that her father will stop at nothing to get her married to the terrible, smelly, pig. That is defiantly when my character changes the most.

DeleteI am on page 54 I think Cripin has changed a lot from the beginning from being a scared little boy to being brave.Crispin is more brave because he had to decide whether he went to new towns and cities or stay and have the risk of someone finding and killing him.He also became braver when Father Quinel died because it was almost like he wanted to stay alive for him and his mom and prove himself inocent.

I am on page 53. I think Crispin has changed by being more independent. I think that because after his mothers death he has had to been living alone and trying to survive on his own. I think Crispin will change through out the story by becoming more out there and making new friends.

Since his mother died , he began to wonder , to be more unadventurous given the fact that he is now alone . I believe he now has himself and god . I think as we keep going there's going to be a twist and something good will happenn .
ReplyDeleteI am on page 155 in Crispin. I think Crispin has changed dramatically from being a quiet, lonely boy, into a strong young “lad”. He seems to smile more since he was with Bear. I think Bear caused Crispin to have more confidence! Bear seems to be Crispin's hero. I hope Crispin will continue to be happier and stronger throughout the book!

ReplyDeleteso far all the changes i am seeing are mostley all on crispin.he knows thta it is going to be hard having to travel on the quest that he is on also knowing how many questions he still hasnt aswered.i aslo think that crispin should just beleive in himself and see whats good for him later on.

The changes that happened in the story is that he is trying to go to a village where nobody can find him and in the beginning he was just hidding from them, but still stayed close to the village he lived in. I think that Crispin might keep changing throught the story because he might live in the village he wants to live in and maybe start looking different than how he looked.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Crispin and I'm on page 86. Crispin has changed alot, he was really scared and timid in the begining, now he is some what braver and is starting to talk to his new master. I think the reason for Crispin's change is because he doesn't want to let the presit down. I predict Crispin will change alot by the end of the book.

ReplyDeleteI am on page 101. Something that has changed about crispin is that he has moved from were he used to live. He used to live in the village but they wanted to kill him so he moved. The cause that he moved is that he got stuck with the guy named bear.

Like the way he didn't run away from bear, it seems to me that he wasn't too afraid. Well, not as afraid as he was when aycliffe sent an army for him. Twice. Do i think he will continue to change? Yes!

I'm on page 144.Crispin changed his look so he wouldn't be spotted.Bear changed his look but his previous lord chaged his faith.I think Crispin will continue to change throught the story.
ReplyDeleteI am on page 96 in the book Crispin.He has changed since the beginning of the story because he used to be a little bit more calm, but now since they proclaimed him "A WOLFS HEAD"he has been trying to run away.Then he is trying to survive with the man named "bear".I think that he's still going to change through out the story some more because he is still going to be the serf of "Bear".Another change that I think might happen is that more and more people are going to want to capture him and he might still be changing expressions.I think that he still has faith but not as much as he did before.

Crsipin has changes in many different ways already, he used to be scared of the soldiers but now hes learned to manage it and instead of being scared t run away from them and try to remain alive. For his age being 12 hes a brave boy and even though Bear has gotten caught by the soldiers and John Aclyfe he wants to help him. Im almost done with the book and its really intresting.

ReplyDeleteI am on page 200 of Crispin. Crispin, who was a lonely and confused boy, now is more faithful in himself than he possibly could ever be. He is a great servant to Bear, and it looks like he really cares for him due to making his life so much easier. That lonely boy isn't the same since traveling with Bear and probably never will be again. It is obviously clear that Bear has to do with Crispin's changes. I really think that Crispin will continue to change throughout the story, learning new things.

ReplyDeleteI am on page 54. I Honestly think that Catherine maybe will change. I think that sometimes when you do something for a long time you get tired of it and stop. I believe that Catherine will possibly just listen to her dad and get tired of fighting, or maybe she will never give up! Maybe she'll never stop until she gets her "freedom."

I think that he has changed by, being braver, trusting in God, and trusting the people around him. You know instead of being scard to show people who he really is. I think that the thing that caused his changes was him always being on the run, the reason why was it was just him, and Bear, so he would need someone to trust otherwhise, they would be caught pretty fast.
